Acceptance

Today is an exceptionally good day :D Not only was Investment Management do-able but I got a little surprise waiting for me in my gmail when I got back from school :)

Just thinking about my flabbergasted reaction when I saw something not-Groupon (like finally =_=) peeping out of my inbox...oh thank god for no hidden cameras. But yes :) :) :) oh boy oh boy oh boy :) :) :)

I got an invitation to Nuffnang's Asia Pacific Blog Awards 2011!!!!

Hahah I can't believe it. I read the email again and again, checking whether they were just sending me a "thank you" notification for participating BUT NO :D :D :D it was a please-RSVP-mail and oh I can't help it but it's reallyyyy so good to be invited to something so exclusive.

Call me a town girl but now I feel so privileged :P It's funny how a simple invitation can make me so happy. I couldn't keep it within me. Despite knowing my phone bill is sure to hit rocket-sky high this month (now with exams going on, I have to keep myself updated with tips), I quickly dialed for Michelle - the woman who I owe everything to for she reminded me day and night about the blog post deadline, and squealed like a kid on sugar rush.

She was in the library but I didn't care. I was overly excited. It was a replica of like how Jenny from Gossip Girl finally got accepted by Blaire as a stepsister or something. Lol it's that impossible.. too impossible that when it finally happened the Jenny within me leashed out and started doing skips like there was an actual rope continuously swinging beneath me, screaming "OMG OMG OMG Mummy!! THEY ACTUALLY CHOSE ME!"

"What? Is this the one they haven't paid you wan?" (talking about some ad I did last last month)
"OMG NOOO THIS IS BIGGER! You get to see the GRAMMY AWARDS"
"So it's just about food? -_-"
"NOOOOO!! I'll have to buy a dress!!"
"Buy dress again!???"
*skips skips skips*
"Why are you so happy???"
"BECAUSE THEY ACTUALLY CHOSE ME."

Oh my goodness, haha if there was a Cool Award I would totally be at the bottom of the bottom list. But yes :D today my day was made by an electronic message from a corporation that probably evades its taxes, screws off social work and underpays its employees like any Wall Street unit but I don't care.. because I. got. in. :)
