When stress boils in your heart's core and work is all your think, eat and breathe about, all you want to do is something crazy. Was in Management class yesterday when Mr.Shannon spoke about Emotional Intelligence and you know what??? I had an epiphany ! Yes it goes something like this: Emotional Intelligence? I don't have it :/
Emotional? yes. Intelligence? I always tell people it's luck that puts me ahead but deep down inside I do hope I have some of this at least (in case the luck really runs out). But put the two together... Emotional Intelligence. Hmm.. sounds like a mysterious power; a skill hidden behind a brick tower; a talent murderers search the world for.. but in the end it's just here by the corner. The corner of your mind.
Emotional Intelligence. You have it if you can control your feelings. When assignments are piling, lecturers are silently screaming (they should REALLY go for anger management) and toilets ain't flushing, sometimes just a tiny stewpid question can throw us off. I know this well because I live it everyday. K lahh... not everyday lah but every 3 hours...yeap that's when my angry "mini" comes out.
Ask me a stupid question and I'll silently tell you off. Ask me again and I bite off your face!
Sometimes I really think my retirement plan: Quit audit after 4 years, join a commercial company, quit after 1o years, lecture for life = not really a good plan when I think about my incontrollable emotions. Because I don't know how lecturers do it. Students like to ask the same question 5 hundred million times. Multiply it by 10 classes and you get 5000 000 000 times (the zero is just for effects). And that's a whole lot of repetition :O
I don't know whether I can take it ;_;
Just before this I was screening through my reading materials on the 2008 financial crisis and right there and then I had a 2011 crisis in my head !$@#!%
And then it came to me....
... that maybe I should shave my head.
