Holidays are great but not when you're too broke to get yourself anything! Discovery Week has been a hyped up event over the past few weeks. It is the realization of every teenage dream because let's face it... you have no money your dreams are nothing but a peck of dust left waiting to wiped off to the space of nowhere *drama much* heh. Anyways, BACK TO THE POINT, Discovery Week! What is it? Well, Mac City have been organizing a tour, whereby these people will go around giving out gifts! What kinda gifts???? Well, it's MAC CITY! What else do you expect them to give out? Candy bars with low fat, low carbs, low everything? If so -_- I must be an idiot to be blogging about this.

So what you gotta do is fill as many buckets as you can. AS MANY AS POSSIBLE. Once one bucket is full, you just need to swipe the bucket away for a brand new empty bucket. Best effect: push the bottom of the bucket!
The dude on the right is ALSO a SUNWAY student doing the Victoria program. And since Ben is doing the Lancaster program in Sun-U as well, it suddenly seems like Tan Sri Dato Seri Dr.Jeffery Cheah (the Dean of the University) is doing a really good job in molding his students into the successor he is (lol that is if life is like a game).

We're talking about a brand new iPod Touch! an iPod Nano! a Logitech Rechargeable Speaker S715i! an Audio technica headphones! All these for just doing what kids do best; play a game. No kidding! They are just that generous and on the right time of the year too! The school holidays have started long ago and it's getting too long. WE NEED GAME! And just by doing what we need to get what we want, WHY NOT?!
This Christmas Mac City is out discovering the best of the best Milk Farmer, Fruit Ninja and King of the Hills. 3 Games. 6 winners. First prize you'll earn yourself a fancy new iTouch and super glossy headphones that are water resistant. Second prize you'll earn yourself a brand new iPod nano that comes in the size of your thumb! You might be thinking "WTH how am I suppose to win when I don't even have one to practice any of these games??" Well, fear not because they do have booths opened up on those days just for people to test their product. And you can just stand there the WHOLE day and TRY and TRY and TRY and TRY until you get the score you want then you just show it to the man incharge and he/she will jot down your name! Haha as lifeless as this may sound, in the end it is just one day of sufferings for a lifetime of joy so why the hell complain huh? ;)
Previously I had blogged on how Fruit Ninja is played and believe you me it is simple to play but it is not easy to be great. This time Mac City had decided to heat it up a little by bringing in two more other games. Now I'm not too sure on how King of the Hills is played but Milk the Cow my fingers know it best :'(

All you gotta do is wait for the PINK GO sign and that's really the hardest part. As soon as you see this, use your best fingering method to milk the cow! You can use your thumbs. You can use your thumb and your pinky. You can use your pinky and your pointy. Ahh...you're smart you get what I mean.
So what you gotta do is fill as many buckets as you can. AS MANY AS POSSIBLE. Once one bucket is full, you just need to swipe the bucket away for a brand new empty bucket. Best effect: push the bottom of the bucket! For more visual instructions:
So you must understand the game now! It's elementary level! But I won't advice little kids to contest. To be one of the best, your fingers must be like an athlete. I'm no athlete in person let alone my fingers. Had blisters after 10 go's >(. So last warning: Milk the Cow = not for kids.
During the Discovery Week 10 at One Utama, the boyfriend went and try out the game and even he couldn't win despite the gamer he is. A girl beat him instead ;P lol
an ACCA student from Sunway :)
18.8 buckets, her highest!
But then he wasn't so bad himself ;). After winning the iPod touch from the Discovery Week 9 at Sunway in the Fruit Ninja Contest, he did it again at One Utama. How's that for a holiday? :P
From left: Ben, the Ninja, the dude, and some big shot.
This Discovery Week Challenge has been such a good experience and certainly a heart pounding one. Not only for the finalists but for the spectators as well! Last week's event I played the cheerleader role and as loud as I can be I was! It was really really scary!! No shit! Ben was one of the top 5's chosen into the semi finals and they had to pick 2 out of the 5. In my chair I was, front row seats, I was praying and praying, hoping and hoping he would just make it into top 2 because once you're in even if you lose you walk home with an iPod nano for CHRISTMAS!

It was beyond crazy! I think I could have peed in my pants. . . hmm . . . this is sad but I actually think I could have peed in my pants =_=

*taken when we found out Ben won over another guy by only 2 fruits!*

My sister and Michelle
It's not everyday you get to take pictures with expensive gadgets ;D
The boy now is trying to figure out how to jailbreak the new iPod as it is using the new 4.2 OS. Sometimes I really do believe that we're two very different people. I'm never good at all these techy stuff and I'm no good at games either (except in Monopoly :P thrashed him yesterday! *heh* for once) as oppose to him but this could be healthy for us :)
Somehow I just wish for them to put on a game (maybe Taboo *hahaha* who am I kidding) that I can win in. Lol maybe not win-win-in but win-win-ben at least >P
Until that happens, I think Mac City should consider hiring Ben as an employee or something. Or maybe put a restraining order on him joining any of their future contest hahaha (-_- i know i'm killing my chances of getting another shiny apple) or they may just face the consequences of him winning their next iPod in the NEXT tour :P
Where would it be next? I hope Pavillion!
